Our parish can only function and carry out its mission: “to know, love and serve God through worship, education, care of God’s people and all of creation” with the generous support of its parishioners.
Here is our State-of-the-Parish-brochure, in case you missed it when it was distributed. It details our spiritual, sacramental, community outreach, and fiscal functions during the last year.
In addition, the packet also contains envelopes for HolyDays during the month, bi-weekly envelopes for Major Maintenance and special envelopes for various annual collections of the diocese, the Vatican, etc. that may occur during that month.
Online Giving All of the above, and ‘Debt Reduction’ gifts can be made online by using the ParishPay online giving program. This is an automated means to financially support the parish through monthly contributions from your checking, savings or credit card account. Your donations are automatically transferred from your checking or savings account or charged to your credit card once a month. You can enroll by filling out an enrollment form at the parish office or signing up directly on the ParishPay website at www.parishpay.com, or calling 1-866-PARISH1. The process takes less than three minutes.
Debt Reduction The monthly envelope packets also contain bi-weekly ‘Debt Reduction’ envelopes. We thank our generous parishioners and friends who regularly support this program using these envelopes or online (see above).
Memorial Gifts Many parishioners also use our Memorial Gift program to thank a parishioner, honor a living friend or relative, or remember deceased family members with a full partial Memorial Gifts.* Often, for a recently deceased family member, they make a notation at the wake or in an obituary that “Gifts to St. Alexander’s Capital Fund Campaign will be greatly appreciated”, or the family itself chooses to make a gift in his or her memory.
*There are many such remaining gifts: pews, chairs, doors, windows; do consider such a Memorial of your loved ones. These gifts will help reduce the debt quickly.
Our Memorial Book and its initial engraved pages of contributors to the Capital campaigns of 1993, 1999, and 2003-2007 is permanently displayed at the Main/east entrance to the Church/Gathering Space/Parish Center. The first engraved page of Memorial Gift donors was recently added. Other Memorial Gits/donors, and those who gave a new general contribution after June 1, 2007, are current recorded on paper (updated regularly) in the Book,, but will have their names engraved at some future time.
